After all those setups, you are finally going to build the appraisal template.
1) Create an appraisal form template
- Go to "Appraisal" --> "Appraisal Form Template" --> Add New
2) Add sections into this appraisal form template
- Go to "Appraisal" --> "Appraisal Form Template" --> Add New
- Input the corresponding field->Save
- "Allow Non-immediate Appraiser(s) to Submit without Reponse" means other than the immediate appraiser, i.e. the first appraiser, always need to fill in all questions, other appraisers can fill in questions as usual. But they can now submit without answering the question. In this case, for unanswered questions, the score from the closest appraiser will be used
- You can see "Section" after saving and creating the Appraisal Form Template
- Go to Section->Add New
- Select the section you want to add into the appraisal
- Sequence Number defines the order of the section
3) Set up stages for the appraisal section
After sections were created, you can further modify the setting for each section by clicking the Sequence Number.
- Define how many stages(there are 4 stages in total) for this section
- "Show up at first stage": This section will be required to be assessed in the appraisal at the first step
- "Show up at mid year": This section will be required to be assessed in the appraisal at the second step
- "Show up at year end": This section will be required to be assessed in the appraisal at the third step
- "Show up at sign off": This section will be shown in reviewing stage (no comment and rating needed)
4) Set up layers for the appraisal section
- Layers are the required fields for both appraisee and appraiser to input
- Eg: If "Number of layers" is "3", both appraisee and appraiser need to input required fields of 3 titles "Responsibility", "Objective" and "Key Action"
5) Set up an optional comment box for the appraisal section
- Enable comment box according to the appraisal section nature, as some employers may wish the staff to provide a description and review for the section.
**The Rating Scale and Details sections in the form template would be the same as the "Rating Scale" and "Question" in "Section Template"
