Why the red "!" shown in the Leave Entry?
It is possible to have inconsistent leave entry during beginning import or a later changed roster. A red "!" will show up if the system found that the nominal leave days are different from that of calculated leave days.
You can go to Analytic->Leave->Leave Entry Consistency Check Report and generate the report to check it.
e.g The below case the leave start time and end time are 16:00-20:00, but according to the shift time, the staff working time should be 09:00-18:00(8hrs). As only the time within the working hour is calculated, i.e 2 hours from 16:00-18:00. The duration calculated by the system= 2/8=0.25 days, which is not matched with the duration=1 day inputted.
Ways to Handle the red "!" shown in the Leave Entry
- Assign shift or default shift to staff
- Go to the staff Roster, check and update the Shift on the leave date. If no shift is assigned, please assign a shift or default shift on the roster(whenever you are working with roster where shift is not yet defined, the Default Shift will be used.)
- Then Open the Leave Entry->More->Recalculate the Leave Entry, Or
- Go to the staff Roster, check and update the Shift on the leave date. If no shift is assigned, please assign a shift or default shift on the roster(whenever you are working with roster where shift is not yet defined, the Default Shift will be used.)
- Check "Is Rest Day counted as taken" and "Is Holiday counted as taken"
- Go to Attendance->Leave Type-> Locate the leave type and enable/disable "Is Rest Day counted as taken" and "Is Holiday counted as taken"
- Then Open the Leave Entry->More->Recalculate the Leave Entry
- Delete the Leave Entry and create it again.
- For leave entry created from the leave application, go to the leave application->More->Cancel this leave application. Then create the leave application/leave entry again.
- Whether create a new Leave Application or create a new Leave Entry directly, depending on you need the approval records or not.
- The leave start time and end time normally would auto-fill in by the system, please do not change it.
- For leave entry created from the leave application, go to the leave application->More->Cancel this leave application. Then create the leave application/leave entry again.
