Why create a restricted right User?
You have a new teammate joining the HR team or you want to give the access right to other colleagues who can only access some of the functions. You would like to create a new account with appropriate permission.
Steps to create new User
- Create a new Entity Group
- Go to the System Menu-->Entity Group
- Entity Group defines the Organization records and Applicant records that can be seen by the user
- Check if the existing Entity Group is what you want. Create a new one if not.
- Go to the System Menu-->Entity Group
- Create a new User Group
- Go to the System Menu-->User Group->Add New to create a new User Group (if needed)
- User Group defines the functions that the user can be used.
- Check if the existing User Group is what you want. Create a new one if not.
- At the end of the page, you can see the Entity Permission. You can assign the Entity Group you have set.
- Go to the System Menu-->User Group->Add New to create a new User Group (if needed)
- Go to the System Menu->User->Add New to create a new user.
- Input the corresponding field
- The User Group would be shown after you create the user. You need to assign the User Group the user belongs to.
- It is suggested to check the setting by logging in with this new Account
