User Group

What is User Group?

User Group defines what can be done (functions or reports) and what can be seen (defined by Entity Group) for Users assigned to this User Group.

"ADMIN" is a special User Group and by default all Users assigned to this User Group has permission to all functions.

What can be defined in User Group?

Group Code: a short code to represent the User Group

Group Name: a longer name for this User Group

Function Permission: for each function, select what the User can do with it. The typical actions are:

• View
• Add
• Edit
• Delete

Some functions have further actions defined too.

Entity Group Permission: check which Entity Group the User can see.
